L-Citrulline (powder)
L-citrulline, like L-arginine and L-ornithine, is involved in the metabolism of ammonia waste in the urea cycle, and in the vasodilation pathways.* Carbamoyl phosphate is converted to citrulline in the ornithine carbamoyltransferase reaction, and when endogenous supplies of ornithine carbamoyltransferase are insufficient, supplemental L-citrulline may be useful.* Free form amino acid, high purity, well tolerated.
Suggested Use
Suggested use: As a dietary supplement, 1 and 1/4 teaspoons two times daily, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.
Warnings
Contraindications to include any individuals with liver or kidney abnormalities, hypersensitivities to L-Citrulline or under 12 years old. Keep in a cool, dry place tightly capped.
