Pregnenolone is an endogenous steroid and precursor/metabolic intermediate in the biosynthesis of most of the steroid hormones, including the progestogens, androgens, estrogens, glucocorticoids, and mineralocorticoids. Best to check with your doctor first. This an excellent product for those of us battling chronic tickborne diseases, was tested and my hormones were way low. This brand is low in excipients.
